A top Hamas official has hailed the Islamic Republic of Iran, Yemen’s Ansarullah, and Lebanon’s Hezbollah for their stances in support of the Palestinian people.

According to Qom News Fawzi Barhoum made the remraks on the occaion of the second anniversary of Al-Aqsa Storm Operation on Tuesday,  Lebanon’s Al Mayadeen news network said.

He said it brought back the Palestinian cause “to its global position and placed the occupation in unprecedented isolation,” and renewed the pledge to “uphold all the inalienable national rights of the people and their aspirations for liberation, reform, and independence.”

Barhoum urged Palestinian factions to unite in their approach to resistance, stressing, “Resistance to the occupation is a fundamental and established right of our people, and the establishment of a fully sovereign Palestinian state with al-Quds as its capital is now within reach.”

Pointing to the conclusion of the first round of indirect talks between Hamas and the Zionist regime in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, he said, “The Hamas negotiating delegation in Cairo is striving to remove all obstacles in the path of reaching an agreement that fulfills the demands of the Palestinian people. We are seeking an agreement that guarantees a ceasefire, the complete withdrawal of the occupying army from Gaza, and the entry of humanitarian aid.”

“We warn against Netanyahu’s efforts to obstruct and thwart the current round of negotiations, as he has done before. We are confident in our people’s ability to thwart all plots aimed at eliminating the Palestinian cause,” the Hamas official stressed.
