Newly elected Iranian Army Ground Forces Commander Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi asserted that the country is fully prepared to respond to any potential threats from its enemies, thanks to its competent manpower and state-of-the-art weapons.

Jahanshahi emphasized that the country’s ground forces have taken advantage of the experiences of the eight years of Sacred Defense (Iraqi imposed war against Iran in 1980-1988), especially 12-day Israeli imposed war against Iran as well as the sublime instructions of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Nowadays, the country is facing a combined and cognitive war, the official said, adding that enemies of the country entered into a soft war with Iran when they failed to achieve their malicious goals through the hard war.

Iran’s Army Ground Forces is fully prepared to respond any potential threats of the enemies, the commander noted.

Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi was appointed as the new commander of the Army Ground Forces, succeeding Major General Kiumars Heidari.

Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi brings extensive military experience to his new role, having previously commanded the 77th Thamen Al-Aemeh Division, served as the Coordinating Deputy of the Army Ground Forces, and held the position of Deputy for Evaluation at the Khatam-al Anbiya Central Headquarters.
