The official highlighted the provision of services to the pilgrims during the holy month of Muharram.

The organization has utilized around 600 buses to transfer the pilgrims, mainly to Mehran and Shalamcheh borders.

Muharram is the first month of the Islamic New Year and is commemorated by mourning rituals that last for ten nights. These rituals are observed not only in Iran but also in other parts of the world where there are Shia Muslims

Additionally, cultural programs and religious videos have been arranged for the pilgrims, with preparations in place for the upcoming Arbaeen, which will be observed from 20 days after Ashura.

Arbaeen marks the 40th day after the Battle of Karbala when Imam Hussein and his 72 companions were martyred.
