On 2nd week of inaugurations, two museums opened in Qom

The opening ceremony was held in the presence of the comrades of the martyrs of Zainuddin, the commanders of the army of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS), a group of military, provincial, and city managers as well as the honorable family of the martyrs of Zainuddin.

Referring to the implementation of this project in the center of Qom, Kalantarzadeh reiterated that since this museum house is considered as a place to establish a national and international cultural center, it should be available to everyone.

Abolghasem Moghimi, the head of the Cultural, Artistic, and Sports Organization of Qom Municipality also said at a press conference held at the martyrs of Zainuddin’s museum house that this place is currently used for a series of cultural and artistic programs for the martyrs.

57 billion and 800 million rials have been spent for the implementation of this project, Moghimi stated, explaining that 5 billion and 800 million rials have been spent for content production and repairs and 2 billion rials for landscaping.

Touching upon the overall goals of this project, he said the establishment of the first official museum house in Qom, the establishment of a cultural center in the city center, the establishment of a cultural production center in the field of oral history of Qom with the themes of the Islamic Revolution and the center for promoting the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom are among the goals of this museum house.

The mayor of Qom Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaiannejad had earlier announced that 45 projects will be opened during 12 weeks in the framework of “Qom on the path of development” plan.
